Sue Luse founded College Expert to guide students to successful college experiences. A Certified Educational Consultant, Sue has counseled students for more than 25 years on college planning and admissions issues. From her early work as a high school guidance counselor in 1993 to her move to an independent consultant in 2001, Sue has worked with students from more than 130 secondary schools and visited over 300 campuses across the nation.
Sue earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and received a Master’s in School Counseling and Guidance from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. She is a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association, the National Association of College Admission Counseling, the Higher Education Consultants Association, and the Minnesota Association of College Admissions Counselors.
A prominent speaker on college issues, Sue has been featured in the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Star Tribune, Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, Minnesota Parent, and Twin Cities Business’ Black Book. She has also been heard on WCCO Radio, MPR Daily Circuit, and interviewed by USA Today and The Wall Street Journal, HuffPost Live, and Consumer Digest Report.
